It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of one of our own: Mr. Obadiah Kipkemboi.  Until his death, Mr. Kemboi was an employee of Kenya Airports Authority (K.A.A Finance HQs, Nairobi) and the Chairman of Supervisory Committee of Airports Sacco.

This death occurred on Saturday 19th March 2016 at the Aga Khan Hospital (Nairobi) where he was undergoing treatment following a tragic road accident along Nakuru-Nairobi highway on 16th March 2016.

Throughout his career, Mr. Obadiah was an officer who was very humble and always got along well with others. He has left a legacy of hard work and commitment to duty which was evident to all of us through several milestones achieved in his period of service.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home Moloi village (Baringo County) and at their residence in Komarock, Nairobi. A fundraising will be held on Wednesday, 23rd March 2016 at Professional Centre (Nairobi) from 5.30pm.

There will be a funeral service on Friday 25th March 2016 at Nairobi Gospel Centre (Embakasi near Taj Mall) between 9.00-11.00am. Thereafter, the cortege leaves for burial on Saturday 26th March 2016 at his home in Moloi village, Orokwo Location, Kabarnet-Baringo County.

The board and the staff of Airports Sacco send our deepest condolences to the wife, family and friends of our brother Obadiah.

“We find a place for what we lose. Although we know that after such a loss the acute stage of mourning will subside, we always know that we shall remain inconsolable and will never find a substitute. No matter what may fill the gap, even if it will be filled completely, it nevertheless remains something else”. Sigmund Frued

May The Lord rest his soul in eternal peace.
